BIOGRAPHYWriter/ Mr. Greene was chosen by the United Nations to produce a television special honoring the U.N.’s 50th anniversary. The one-hour film celebrating diversity earned an Emmy nomination and was translated and broadcast worldwide. Recent productions by Mr. Greene include "Witness: Voices from the Holocaust," a feature film based on testimony from the Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust testimonies at Yale University. The film was voted one of the best Holocaust films of all time by Facets Media. It received Gold Medal at the Houston, Flagstaff, and New York International film festivals, and a companion book was published by Simon & Schuster. The Washington Times wrote, "A program such as Witness: Voices from the Holocaust gives new meaning to the term documentary." Mr. Greene served as Director of Programming for Cablevision and was Senior Vice President at Ruder Finn, New York’s largest communications firm. He is a certified mediator and is Director of Strategic Planning for the World Council of Religious Leaders. He is on the Board of the Holocaust Memorial and Educational Center of Nassau County, the Coalition for Quality Children’s Media, and the Spirit in Business Institute. He lives with his wife and two children on Long Island. |
